I found it very easy to visualise all the places and they all fit together nicely and equally.

The Setting: All the settings used throughout the book are described really well and in a way that was almost tactile. They all have depth and substance and a clarity of voice that is wonderful to read. I can’t say enough about how brilliantly written these characters are. The thing with having a book full of baddies is that you will have a favourite (mine changed every three chapters.), you will understand some of them and you will feel sympathy for some of them. The Characters: The title does not lie, there is not a single “good” character in this book, every single one is delightfully, individually villainous and it is masterful. I love when the plot feels organic and driven by character choices. The Plot: The base plot is straightforward but it’s moulded into something twisty and complex because of the characters. I’m so happy about this because it is an absolute belter of a novel and I cannot wait to read book 2.

This book came to me via Goldsboro books SFF book of the month, it looked interesting (and oh so pretty) but it was nowhere near the top of my TBR and then along came Womble with his 2022 challenge, January was to read the last book you bought so All of us Villains was catapulted to the top of the mountain. Short Version: Oh my giddy aunt! This book is brilliant.
